The carrying case is made of pine and laminated birch and measures 14"x9"x3.5" It has a thick leather handle for comfortable carrying and leather straps with a secure snap closure. The hinges are cast iron. It has been carefully stained and painted to look extremely old and well used. All of the metal hardware and nails have an antique rust patina. The look of the case and all of the implements was inspired by classic horror films such as the Dracula series by Hammer Studios, as well as by genuine historic items. This looks precisely like the type of kit that would have been carried by a real-life, 19th century Van Helsing. Each item in the kit has it's own storage area inside the case for secure storage and quick access.

The stakes are each approximately 12 inches long and feature a sinister, gothic shape. Each has a wicked looking, razor sharp point. The wood used is Hawthorne, and each has a cross burned deeply into the front. Like all of the other wood items, these have a distressed and stained finish that makes them look weathered and old..

The mallet is 11.5 inches long and is made entirely from oak. The mallet head is made from several layers of oak bonded together for maximum durability.

The cross is very large and made from Red Oak. It measures approximately 13 inches long. The front is adorned with with a metal Victorian Era inspired cross which looks very old and worn. A series of copper tacks on the front provide a secure grip and additional ornamentation.

The candles are 6 inch long wax taper candles. Color may vary depending on availability. These are just the thing to light the way while tracking the vampire to his lair.

This kit is exceptionally detailed and made to a much higher quality standard then a mere movie prop. All of the wooden items, including the case, were totally handmade. There are no cheap craft store crosses or carrying cases here. All of the contents of this kit would be totally functional...if vampires existed.
